Blacklight Hike with Old Caz and Friends of Trione-Annadel
About
Ready to see Trione-Annadel in a whole new light? Join State Park staff for a spooky nighttime stroll along Channel Drive and discover what glows after dark! Illuminate glowing fungi, plants, and other hidden surprises you might otherwise miss! Wrap up the evening with a treat from Old Caz and show off your Halloween spirit in our spook-tacular costume contest. The top three costumes will take home prizes, so bring your best spooky, silly, or creative look! The Need-to-Know Details: This is an easy, flat route along Channel Drive. We’ll meet at the Trione-Annadel Visitor Center for a 1.5-hour nighttime exploration before returning to the Visitor Center for libations and our spook-tacular costume contest! Participants should dress warmly and bring a flashlight or headlamp, water, and closed-toed, sturdy shoes for a safe, comfortable adventure. Some UV lights (blacklights) will be available to borrow, but supplies are limited. Registration is REQUIRED for all participants. Participants under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Those 21 and older are welcome to enjoy a complimentary beverage after the walk concludes. Come enjoy nature, great company, and raise a glass to preserving our beloved trails! This event is supported by Friends of Trione-Annadel (FOTA), in partnership with Old Caz Beer. Learn more about FOTA at www.friendsoftrione-annadel.org. California State Parks supports equal access.
