Watercolor Line & Wash - Colors of Fall
About
This Fall, spend eight weeks building a strong foundation in watercolor in a way that feels approachable and enjoyable. Working from fruits, vegetables, and late-season blooms, you will learn the essentials: how water behaves, how to mix color, and how to use line and wash together without overcomplicating the process. We will start with the basics and build steadily from there. Each session introduces a clear idea-whether it’s controlling washes, simplifying shapes, or adding detail so you can see your progress week by week. Using subjects like dahlias, foliage, and harvest forms, you’ll practice applying these skills in a relaxed, hands-on way. By the end, you will have the tools to create confident, lively paintings, and a process you can return to on your own. Please bring requested materials to class. Materials list available at sharonartstudio.org.
