Woodlawn Manor Guided Twilight Trek - September 26
About
Learn historical context and techniques used to navigate the way North to freedom including the challenges and opportunities nighttime travel presented. Traverse the trail with the help of stars and moonlight while learning which plants were helpful along the journey. Participants are highly encouraged to bring a flashlight and wear light colored or reflective clothing. Hike will begin at 6:30pm and end at approximately 8:00pm. Woodlawn Museum admission included; please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the hike to explore the museum. Hike covers approx. 2 miles and lasts 1 ½ hours. The trail is not ADA accessible. Appropriate for ages 15 and up.
