Last Day to Apply for a Mail-in Ballot for the Nov. 3 State General Election

Mail-in ballots will be mailed to voters who have completed a request to vote by mail . The Melrose Elections office has mailed out all ballots requested to date, and the deadline to request a mail-in ballot is Tuesday, October 27 at 5 p.m. Ballots can be returned in one of the following ways: Mailing it back in the postage-paid envelope provided; Hand-delivering your ballot to the Elections office at City Hall during normal business hours and early voting hours; or Using the secure ballot drop box located in the alleyway between City Hall and the Melrose post office. Mail-in ballots cannot be dropped off at a polling place on Election Day.
