About
Crochet Kitty Cat Earrings & Fruit Keychains: A Two-Session Workshop for Teens Join sustainable artist and community educator Leila Ghasempor for a fun, hands-on introduction to crochet and learn how to create adorable handmade accessories! Session 1 — October 10, 2:00–4:30 p.m. Learn the basics of crochet, including how to make a magic ring, single crochet stitch, and increases , and use these techniques to create a cute pair of crocheted kitty cat earrings . You will also receive a crochet pattern for making a coaster/brooch if you’d like to continue practicing at home. Session 2 — October 24, 2:00–4:30 p.m. Take your crochet skills to the next level by learning the basics of three-dimensional crochet . You’ll then use your new skills to create adorable small fruit keychains . All materials will be provided. This is a two-session workshop , and participants are encouraged to attend both sessions.
