Kadanz Jazz Concert
About
Kadanz Jazz presents blends of cherished musical styles and rhythms that are not commonly heard in this region. Our repertoire is a confluence of musical styles and rhythms from Africa, the French Caribbean (Haiti/Martinique), Brazil and American Jazz fused together to create a new sound. We hope to inspire our listeners to a broader appreciation of music and cultural horizons. Kadanz features five local musicians: Mark Torgerson-guitar Hilary Noble -percussion/winds Fabio Pirozzolo-percussion Michael Shea- keyboard Galen Willett- bass This program is funded through the Medford Arts Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
