About

Practice Spanish in a cordial and welcoming environment! A native speaker will discuss different topics during the sessions, encouraging attendees to improve their grammar and become more comfortable speaking aloud. Whether you learned Spanish at home or school, are using Mango or Rosetta Stone , join us to chat, increase your proficiency and make new friends. This club is led by Paulina Sotomayor Kaufmann, a Spanish native speaker with many years of experience teaching Spanish to children and adults. She has a Masters degree from Catholic University Chile, from her hometown of Santiago de Chile. Paulina has lived in the Washington DC area for the last 25 years with her family. She enjoys traveling abroad, biking and playing with her young grandchildren. This club meets the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon.
