Take the Mic: Speech and Debate for Tweens and Teens

Ready to speak up, think critically, and make your voice heard? Take the Mic is a fun, interactive speech and debate workshop that helps students become more confident and persuasive public speakers. Through engaging activities, practice debates, and collaborative discussions, participants will learn how to craft strong arguments, think on their feet, and communicate effectively. Free. Pre-registration required. Limited to students ages 10-16. This program meets on five consecutive Saturdays (Sept. 19 to Oct. 17) from 4 to 5:30 p.m.. Registered participants are expected to attend all five sessions. Please do not register unless your child is able to attend all five sessions. ADA Accommodation Requests
