Filipino Island Fest
About
One of the largest Filipino cultural events returns to the Alameda waterfront for a 3rd year on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026. Filipino Island Fest brings thousands of attendees together to celebrate Filipino culture, community, and belonging. What began as a grassroots gathering in 2023 has grown into one of the Bay Area's largest Filipino cultural events. This year’s theme reflects both where Filipinos come from and where they stand today: “Rooted Here – Culture That Grounds Us. Community That Grows Us.” Grounded in the spirit of Bayanihan, it honors the connections, traditions, and collective strength that continue to shape Filipino identity and future. The festival features different activations highlighting Filipino heritage, wellness, sports, artisans, performances, and food from across the diaspora. Tickets are now on sale, with the first 5,000 tickets sold at $5. After that, general admission increases to $10 for pre-sales. Day-of tickets will be $20, so get yours now! You can also pre-order an exclusive Filipino Island Festival tote bag. Every ticket purchased supports Filipino artists, musicians, performers, small businesses, cultural programming, and the continued growth of one of the country's largest Filipino cultural celebrations.
