FREE Home Weatherization Workshop
About
This practical, FREE hands-on 2.5-hour workshop is designed to help Alexandria residents improve home comfort, energy efficiency, and reduce energy waste. Participants will learn how to identify drafts and air leaks, use caulking and weatherstripping, understand basic insulation, and identify simple energy-saving improvements they can make at home. The class will include demonstrations and hands-on activities, with participants leaving with practical skills and resources they can use right away. All materials are provided, and every participant will receive a FREE energy efficiency kit to take home so you can start weatherizing your home. Two workshops are being offered - either from 10am - 12:30pm or 1:30 - 4pm.
