Banned Books Storytime
About
Join us for stories, songs, and a banned books giveaway! This storytime is designed for toddlers and preschool-aged children. However, all are welcome. Celebrate the freedom to read with a special storytime featuring challenged and banned picture books. Afterwards, pick up a free banned book to take home (available while supplies last). We request that parents and caregivers remain present and engage with their children during the program as we learn and explore together! This event is ticketed; tickets will be available at the front desk. Since we will be limiting event capacity, please be prepared to potentially be turned away if the event is full. The Greenhouse Community Room will be open 10 minutes prior to the start of the event. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests. An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) business days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org .
