Wednesday Walk: Eastport to Huckleberry

SIBLEY VOLCANIC REGIONAL PRESERVE (EASTPORT STAGING AREA): We’ll try out the brand new Pacific Pea Trail taking us from the McCosker Area west to Huckleberry Preserve, traversing about 4 miles of San Leandro Canyon scenery. Trails are steep and uneven in parts and we’ll climb about 700 feet overall. Wear sturdy footwear, bring water, a snack and dress in layers for the weather. Meet near Pinehurst Road.
