The Lifeguarding Instructor/Instructor Trainer (LGI/IT) Recertification course provides currently certified LGI/ITs with the opportunity to review and refresh the knowledge, skills, and instructional techniques required to maintain their certification. Through a formal course setting, participants will demonstrate proficiency in course content, teaching methods, and program standards established by the American Red Cross. Successful completion of this recertification course is required to maintain active American Red Cross LGI/IT certification.
