Saturday, September 26 · 2 PM – 3 PM · Georgetown Neighborhood Library · Washington

About

Professor Danika Myres , a poet and faculty member at George Washington University , examines how artificial intelligence is reshaping imagination, integrity, and the creative process. Drawing from both literary practice and emerging technologies, her talk considers how poets can engage with AI without compromising artistic authenticity, how machine‑generated language challenges traditional notions of voice, and what opportunities and risks these tools present for creative expression. This program is part of “ The Next Chapter: Perspectives on AI and Writing ,” hosted by Georgetown Neighborhood Library and sponsored by the Friends of the Library . Saturday, September 26 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
