School age children are welcome to come read to Liam and Dillon -- two super friendly, fluffy therapy dogs (National Capital Therapy Dogs) who can't wait to meet you! Whether you're just starting out or a reading pro, this is your chance to curl up with a pup and share a story. Each reader gets a 10-minute session. Sign up at the Information Desk starting 30 minutes before the program (5:30 pm) . First come, first served. Bring your own book or grab one from the library! Questions about this program? Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
