A former winner of the San Francisco Bay Area’s Jazz Search West Competition, Taylor draws inspiration from an extraordinary lineage of vocal artists, including Jon Hendricks, Al Jarreau, Betty Carter, Nat King Cole, and Mark Murphy. Those influences come together in a performance style that honors the jazz tradition with a deep respect of its history.
