Sensory Connection Storytime at Herndon Library

An interactive and educational program for babies and toddlers in a sensory-friendly environment. Includes interactive stories, songs, sensory play and socialization time. Coordinated with Fairfax County Infant Toddler Connection. Ages birth-3 years with adult. Space is limited, so registration is required for this event. --- Tips for a Successful Storytime Sit, sing, & listen to stories together. The more you participate in storytime, the more children will participate, enjoy, and learn from storytime. Please be timely. Storytimes are short and every minute is full of fun and learning opportunities. Be responsive to your child. Some days children aren't in the right mood for storytime. If a child is having a bad day or becomes disruptive, please feel free to take a break and try again. Please enjoy your food, cell phones, and side conversations after storytime.
