Improve your relaxation, posture & energy flow Feel the gentle power of energy exercises in a welcoming space. Instructor Jing Liu will guide you through gentle stand-and-follow motions. Each month covers a different practice: Tai Chi: Oct. 4, Dec. 6 Qigong: Sept. 6, Nov. 1 The classes are designed for all fitness levels, including people with movement limitations. What You’ll Learn: Simple, beginner-friendly movements Breathing and relaxation techniques Ways to improve posture and balance Mind-body awareness for stress relief Benefits of this practice: Suitable for many ages and abilities You may notice right away that it helps improve breathing, reduce stress, and increase energy Can be done in small spaces with no equipment Simple enough to practice on your own This class is a low-impact, mindful way to stay active. No previous experience is required. Wear comfortable clothing and bring water. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests. An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance.
