ECOSYSTEMS MATTER Book Signing: Solutions for Alameda

Friday, October 23 · 6 PM – 9 PM · Julie's Coffee & Tea Garden, Alameda, CA

About

Alameda resident, environmental educator, author and Resilience Birthright founder Jessica Jane Robinson will bring environmental storytelling, education and local sustainability solutions together for her *Ecosystems Matter* book signing & zero-waste community gathering on **Friday, October 23, from 6:00–8:00 PM at Julie’s Coffee & Tea Garden in Alameda, California.** Robinson’s environmental novel, *Ecosystems Matter*, was released on Earth Day earlier this year, and she has developed standards-aligned educational curriculum based on the book which she is already using in several schools locally and around the country. Robinson will introduce the book and share how storytelling can help young people understand ecosystems, environmental stewardship and their own ability to make a difference. The program will include ***Story of CARP***, a short film exploring local environmental action; a spotlight featuring **Replenish Marketplace and OKAPI Reusables**; the trailer for Robinson’s environmental documentary ***Story of the Cup***; and a screening of Robinson’s ***Next Level CEO*** episode.
