Reading is more fun when you're reading to a dog! Our specially trained therapy dogs are accompanied by their human handlers, and will sit quietly while you read aloud to them. Bring a favorite book, and relax while you read to a friendly, furry, four-legged friend! For kids grades K-4. Sessions are 15 minutes and registration is required. Wednesday, September 9th: Goose, with handler Lisa Griffin Wednesday, September 16th: Moxie, with handler Melissa Macey Wednesday, September 23rd: Buddy, with handler Deb Harrow Buddy is a seven-year-old chocolate English Labrador Retriever who enjoys playing with sticks, chasing after tennis balls and swimming. He also loves to have his belly scratched. Buddy was the smallest puppy in his litter of 10, but you would never know it now! Buddy’s therapy dog teammate is Deb, an avid reader.
