Ikebana: Japanese Flower Arrangement Workshop
About
Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arranging. In this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop, participants will learn a little about its history and simple design ideas, then create their own arrangement with seasonal flowers to take home. All materials will be provided. ABOUT THE PRESENTER Narcisa Despoiu is an Ikebana artist based in Reston and the founder of Narcisa Art Studio . She has studied the Sogetsu style of Ikebana and enjoys sharing this beautiful art form through workshops for community groups, private events, and companies in the Washington, D.C., area.
