Phi Theta Kappa Meeting
About
Join us during our weekly meetings in person or on Zoom. Email Dr. Howze-Owens for the link. Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society recognizes the academic achievements of community college students around the country. The Society creates unique research and leadership opportunities for members through yearly projects and events. This semester, the Beta Xi Eta chapter here at College of San Mateo, chartered in April of 2005, will be increasing on campus presence. Since its charter, PTK has created numerous meaningful projects and paved the way for students to move on to prestigious Universities, such as: UC Berkeley, Stanford, UCLA, and many more. Our chapter reached the Five-star Chapter rating for the first time in 2012. This semester, we plan to return to that prestigious status.
