About

Need a sewing machine? The Library has sewing machines (model: Baby Lock Joy) and a serger (model: Brother 1034D) that are available for use within the Library on a drop-in basis. Whether you’re working on a project or need to hem a garment, this casual, welcoming space is perfect for all skill levels. Volunteers are available to answer basic sewing questions. A limited number of supplies, such as scissors and thread, are provided. You are welcome to bring your own thread if you require a particular color. No registration required -- just bring your materials and drop in! This event is intended for adults, ages 18 and up. This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Mountain View Library.
