About
Have you ever thought about learning to play a tabletop role-playing game? Are you a grizzled Dungeons & Dragons adventurer? Does this all sound like nonsense, but you're interested in having fun on a Tuesday afternoon in a relaxed and inclusive space? Come on down to Teen Room at North Branch for games at the library! We'll take the pressure off of learning different TTRPG rules and systems with simplified character sheets and guided sessions, and provide a built-in group of players for those who have the dice but not the party. Registered participants will get all the materials they need to play each game, as well as the option to use a pre-made character. We'll be playing one continuous original story in the Dungeons & Dragons system/world in October, November, and December of 2026. Please try and let us know which ones you'll be at, so we have enough supplies and snacks. Middle and high schoolers are invited to every session! This campaign will feature youth game masters. Games provided by California Film & Cultural Center. Snacks provided by the Friends of the Berkeley Public Library.
