Enter the shadows at Dearly Departed, the Halloween pop-up taking over Alter Ego Cocktail Club in Downtown San Jose. Back for its second year, Dearly Departed has transformed from last year’s haunted mortuary into an elegant vampire lair, bringing a darker, seductive spin to spooky season. The real showstopper is the cocktail menu. Specialty Halloween drinks feature elaborate preparations and theatrical presentations, with nearly every cocktail served in themed glassware. Even the menu gets a makeover, presented in a black leather pamphlet branded with the Dearly Departed logo.
