CENTRAL: A Taste of Santa Clara - Community Book Launch

Celebrate the launch of A Taste of Santa Clara, a community-created book featuring recipes, artwork, and short writings from Santa Clara residents. Created as part of Santa Clara City Library’s 2025–2026 NEA Big Read project, A Taste of Santa Clara was inspired by Bite by Bite: Nourishments and Jamborees by Aimee Nezhukumatathil. Throughout the project, community members were invited to reflect on food, family, culture, nature, memory, and place through library programs and creative submissions. The finished book brings together selected contributions from local residents and offers a lasting snapshot of Santa Clara’s diverse stories, traditions, and creativity.
