Storytelling 101 @North
About
Join us as we learn the parts of a great story, and tell some tales together! Join us to learn how to tell a great story in any format with writer and filmmaker David Feather! Over the course of this lab, we’ll learn the parts of a story using popular media, touch on some common storytelling techniques from cultures around the world, write a story together, and workshop participant ideas. This session is built for new adults, young adults, teens, and tweens; join us if you can meaningfully participate! Registration is required for this session. Feel free to bring your fave pen or notebook, and something to hold your new worksheets. All necessary materials will be provided. Literally How: Welcome to a brand new life literacy series where you get hands-on experience learning or developing a new skill every month! If you’ve ever thought you “should” know how to do a thing, or just want to expand your practical knowledge, join us 1st Tuesdays at North Branch to find out: literally how.
