Youth Digital Comics and Storyboarding
About
Students will develop characters using traditional drawing tools on paper as well as digital tools on iPads, focusing on expression, body movement, and perspective. The course will cover gesture drawing, color theory, and production art techniques that support visual storytelling. Students will also explore storyboarding and background design. This class helps build both visual and digital art skills, preparing students for visual arts high schools and future creative opportunities beyond the classroom. Class may be repeated, as more advanced material will be presented for students who have previously taken this course. Basic materials will be provided for students to use during class.
